After the crazed frenzy surrounding the Air Jordan 1, the 2's had to live up to the hype. Bruce Kilgore, the shoe's designer did just that. This would be the first time that the iconic swoosh logo would be removed from the brands shoes in favor of Air Jordan's wing logo, but featuring "Nike" across the heel tab. The "Goat," would capture what was only the second-ever 3,000 point season in professional basketball. The Union "Grey Fog," dressed in grey fog, siren red, and light smoke grey don't disappoint. Constructed with a mixture of nylon and suede with added perforations on the overlays, and UN/LA tags on the ankle tag. In addition to the exposed-foam tongues and branded insoles to finish the design.
